Super Bowl 60 Halftime Show Predictions: What Song Will Bad Bunny Open With?

Super Bowl 60 Halftime Show Predictions: What Song Will Bad Bunny Open With?

Kendall Valenzuela breaks down what to expect from Bad Bunny's halftime performance at Super Bowl 60 ... and how you can wager on it!

If you know me, you know that there's nothing I love more than a good Super Bowl halftime show.

We got an amazing performance from Kendrick Lamar last year and for Super Bowl 60, we're lucky enough to have one of my favorite artists, Bad Bunny, performing.

Of course, there are also ways to wager and have some skin in the game for the halftime show, too. I mean, it is the Super Bowl after all! Let's dive into my thoughts on what to expect from Bad Bunny's Super Bowl 60 halftime show.

Predictions For Bad Bunny's Super Bowl 60 Halftime Performance

Bad Bunny First Song Prediction: "BAILE INoLVIDABLE"

I know, this is a chalk pick if we're looking through all the incredible songs Bad Bunny has, but I do believe he opens with this song for the Super Bowl. If you haven't blessed your ears yet, go listen to his most recent album "DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS" (I Should Have Taken More Photos).

If we are looking for a dark-horse pick for the first song, "MONACO" comes to mind. The opening of this song has a sample of Charles Aznavour’s 1964 rendition of “Hier encore,” and Bad Bunny's first verse fits perfectly into a Super Bowl performance when he says “Dime, dime, este es lo que tu querías” (this is what you wanted”).

Total Songs Performed By Bad Bunny At Super Bowl 60: 10.5 o/u

I think taking the over on songs played is a safe bet here. Two years ago, Usher had 12 songs on his setlist. Kendrick Lamar stole the spotlight when he performed 10 songs in New Orleans for the halftime show. This year, since Bad Bunny has a plethora of songs to pick from, I'm going to bet on the over 10.5 full songs played. He's going to pack an amazing performance with old and new hits to satisfy his whole fan base. BUCKLE UP!

Length of Super Bowl 60 Halftime Performance

If the Seahawks weren't playing for a Super Bowl title, I would just say let Bad Bunny stay out there for hours and postpone the game! This performance deserves at least two hours, but I think we're going to see a sweet spot of 12-15 minutes from Bad Bunny and his potential guests. Expect a lot of culture, dancing, color and just pure fun.

Burnt Halftime Snacks: Over 0.5

I don't care if your aunt and grandmother have never heard of Bad Bunny. I'm betting everything on women ages 35 & up forgetting about the spinach and artichoke dip they left in the oven when they see him gyrating on screen.

Get out the fire extinguishers.

Predicting Super Bowl 60 Halftime Show Guest Performer: Cardi B

Not only is Cardi B on the 2018 track "I Like It" with Bad Bunny, but she's also dating Stefon Diggs, who will likely be fighting for his life against Seattle's defense for 30 minutes prior to the rapper taking the stage.

It seems only fitting that Diggs and Cardi B share a little of the spotlight together in Levi's Stadium, right? It's not every year that your dad makes the Super Bowl and your mom has musical connections to the halftime performer. Do it for the scrapbook.

Super Bowl 60 Halftime Show Wardrobe Removal Count: Under 2.5 minutes

While everyone's debating whether or not Bad Bunny will show off his thighs in a dress during this year's performance … I'm just wondering if (when?) we'll see his top removed.

Sure, Bad Bunny's known for his high-fashion. But after his shirtless Calvin Klein campaign went viral in March, I wouldn't be surprised if he pulls off a classic Bert-Kreischer-shirt-removal mid-performance. But if he does, there won't be any laughter.

I mean … Have you seen his Instagram?

Fourth Wall Breaks: Over 1.5

Bad Bunny is known for his humor and not taking his performances too seriously. What I mean is, there's a chance that he addresses the audience at home.

  • Call out the energy of the crowd if he falls short of his expectations
  • Addresses the fact that many Americans don't know his lyrics
  • Pokes fun at his own wardrobe or what others may think of it

Regardless of how he decides to shatter the invisible wall between him and us viewers at home, just remember to have some fun. He sure will.
